If the discount is now only 5%, it isn’t any better than using the Target credit card that already gives you 5% off? Right? I guess it is fine if you don’t already use the card…. or you really want to buy someone else a gift card.
Good reminder that REDcard doesn’t give 5% on Target gift cards. You could use a 2% cash back card instead of the REDcard, which would net 7%.
