Chase and Citibank don’t have much to worry about from this particular competitor, methinks.
I read up on it also yesterday. It is definately not worth getting. I’m not even sure it would be on my list of top ten.
What a disappointment. Emigrant is going to have to do better than offer a lowsy credit card to get my money back. They won’t see a dime until I see a higher interest rate. I think ING was on the right track with their “Winter Savings” promotion. People want points, not shoddy gimmicks.

Emigrant Direct is upping ther cash rebate card from 1.25% to 1.4%. I am not impressed as there are still a few 1.5% cash back cards out there.
